As we know State Fair of Texas is just around the corner but if you're not into the deep dried foods they offer nor into the rides ... here's something new The Chinese Lantern Festival debuts in the Southwest for the 1st time I believe. The event will take place at the lagoon inside fair park ground and from the website it looks pretty interesting.
